After the recent UK government announcement of a second national lockdown in England, we wanted to take the opportunity to give you an update on our status.
As per our previous communications, our absolute priority remains the wellbeing and safety of our associates, our suppliers, and our customers. Our desire to support UK manufacturing has never been more important and we are managing this through serving and supporting our customers via our regional Customer Service Centres, where social distancing and remote working policies are in place to keep people safe and maintain service levels.
Our Central Distribution Centre is fully operational and inventory levels remain high with no major future concerns identified anywhere within our supply chain.
We are utilising digital tools and applications such as Microsoft Teams to ensure customer meetings can continue and our external sales and technical teams are readily available for consultation. Please do contact your local Routeco associate should you like to arrange a meeting to discuss how we can help you.
The Routeco E-commerce website is proving to be a great option for many, and this gives you direct access into our business system providing: product detail, live stock levels, pricing, full account information and allows you to self-generate quotes and place orders directly at any time of the day.
To assist us in maintaining our high service levels during the coming weeks, we do kindly request that you please communicate with us should you be closed for deliveries or are planning to close. This will save unnecessary delivery costs and time spent dealing with failed deliveries via our courier network.
Finally, we would like to say how proud we are of the way our associates and partners have responded to the challenges faced in recent months, this has been truly inspiring and we wish all of our customers every continued success in navigating through these unprecedented times.
